You will never find a quite place like Cape Town, a uniquely beautiful town crowned by the majestic Table Mountain National Park, a set of different races, landscapes, and cuisines.
The city is defined by Table Mountain National Park. The plain-topped mountain is the main act, but within the vast limits of the park, there are many other equally beautiful natural landscapes. Planted areas such as the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Green Point Urban Park, and Garden of the Historic Company also make it a joy to explore the city. Follow the local initiative by taking full advantage of the plentiful outdoor space like tandem-paragliding off Lion’s Head; abseiling off the top of Table Mountain, hiking or mountain biking and many activities available.
Here, too, human creativity is obvious, it’s one of the factors that made the city a World Capital of Design in 2014. From the Bo-Kaap’s brightly painted facades and Muizenberg’s bathing cottages to the Afro decor of its hotels, as well as the East City and Woodstock’s art design and innovation incubators, this is a superb city. The Cape Flat’s casual villages are an eye-opening counterpoint, but these townships also have business projects that put food on tables from natural gardens, or stock shops with beautiful things.
